Spirit's Page - Continued

from Me and Dewey and THAT RED DOG#14 October 2007

Do you see any trees or bushes that could get cold in the winter?  No!  Mom put dirt in our bark-at-the-cars-and-kick-dirt hole.I  sn't that silly?  Does she think that not having the hole will make us bark any less at cars?  And those motorcycles are really necessary to bark at.  Keeping Mom and all the pack safe is VERY hard work.  Now we have to dig that hole all over again.

It is VERY HARD being the dog-in-charge here when you have a Mom who insists on being SILLY.  (She won't let me capitqalize anymore words in this paragraph.  It is not fair that Mom gets to okay what I write for MY WEBPAGE!)

THAT OLD DOG DEWEY is silly, too.  He keeps trying to protect that garden from rabbits, even when cold killed all the vegetables.  He doesn't want rabbits to get the nice grass he likes to eat that is still growing.

Do you see any rabbits here?  No.  Just an OLD DOG named DEWEY.

THAT RED DOG is NOT silly.  He is the only one besides me who is NOT silly.  I have finally decided that Mom can keep him.  I need someone besides me around here who understands how things should be.

He barks at the cars as they go by, and they never come into the fenced in yard.  Mom gets upset.  He barks at THAT OTHER RED DOG that walks by, and that dogm NEVER comes into our house orm our yard.  Mom gets upset.  He barks at motorcycles when we go for a ride.  No motorcycle has come into ourm car.  Mom gets upset.  He wants to leave the yard whenever Mom leaves the yard, so he can protect her from all the squirrels that hang around out there.  Mom gets upset - especially when he gets outside the fence.  Mom is silly.  She should know about all these dangers since she is the head of the pack.

I should be the head of the pack.  But no, Mom says she is, and she's the one who fills the dog food bowl.  She wins.  But she is still silly.

I will tell RED that he can stay.  He will be happy.
